You are not picking one product. You are picking between forty.
You look at a lot of products in a week. By the end of it you have to choose two or three to actually buy. That means holding all of them in your head at once, and comparing them properly.
Most people do this in a spreadsheet. Copy the title, copy the price, type in your costs, paste the link, then do it again for the next one. It works, but it takes an evening. Sourcebook does the same job in a few clicks.
And getting it wrong is expensive. Say a product loses 43 cents on every sale. Order a hundred of them and you are $43 down before you sell a single one. Most people only find out six weeks later, when the boxes turn up.

| Whose numbers it uses | Yours | Its own estimates | Yours, always |
| Time per product | About a minute | Seconds, then it is gone | One click, and it stays |
| Where your data lives | Your computer | Usually their servers | Your computer only |
| Price | $15 for a template | $20–40 a month | Free |
What it does
Six things Sourcebook does for you.
It is a shortlist that does the maths. You save the products you are thinking about, put your own costs in, and it tells you which ones are worth buying.
Saves products in one click
A button sits on every product page. Click it and the title, price, photo and link are on your list. No copying, no pasting.
Works out your real profit
Put in what it costs you, what shipping costs, what you would sell it for, and the marketplace fee. It gives you the profit and the margin.
Puts the best one on top
Your list sorts itself by margin, so the product worth buying is the first one you see. You can also sort by profit or by newest.
Shows losses clearly
Green means it makes money, red means it loses money, amber means you have not added a price yet. You can read the whole list without stopping.
Keeps everything on your computer
Your list is saved in your own browser. There is no account, no sign-up, and nothing is ever sent anywhere. It works with the internet switched off.
Lets you take your data
Download your whole list as a spreadsheet file whenever you want, and use it anywhere else. Nothing is locked in.
How it works
Three steps. The whole thing takes about a minute.
Save while you browse
A button sits in the corner of every product page on AliExpress, Alibaba, Amazon and eBay. One click saves the product to your list: title, price, photo and link.
Add your numbers
Four boxes per product: what it costs you, what shipping costs, what you would sell it for, and the marketplace fee. You fill these in, so the answer is based on your real costs.
See which ones to buy
Every product shows its profit and margin, with the best at the top. Green makes money, red loses it. Choosing takes seconds, not a whole evening.
Is it really free?
Yes, and you can save as many products as you like. A paid version may come later with extra features, but anything you save now stays yours either way.
Can you see what I am researching?
No. There is nowhere for it to go. Your list is saved inside your own browser, and the extension never sends anything out. You can use it with your internet turned off.
What if it reads a price wrong?
Just type over it. Sourcebook fills in the title and price to save you typing, but you can change every box yourself, so a wrong reading is never a problem.
Can you add another marketplace?
Usually yes, and quickly. Email marginlybusiness21@gmail.com with the site and it will be looked at.
