Sourcebook does not collect anything.

What is stored
When you click Save to Sourcebook on a product page, the extension stores the product's title, price, image URL, page URL, and site name, plus any numbers you type in yourself (cost, shipping, selling price, fee percentage).
All of it is written to chrome.storage.local, which is storage inside your own copy of Chrome on your own computer.
What is not done with it
- It is not sent to the developer or to any server.
- It is not shared with or sold to anybody.
- It is not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
- There are no analytics, telemetry, cookies, or third-party scripts in the extension at all.
- The extension makes no network requests of any kind. Even the two fonts it uses are files inside the extension rather than something fetched from Google Fonts, so nothing about your browsing reaches anyone — including us.
Permissions and why they exist

- To keep your shortlist between browser sessions. Local only.
- Marketplace pages
- To show the save button on product pages and read the product's title and price from the page you are already looking at. Only eight domains are listed (AliExpress, Alibaba, Amazon and eBay), and only product data is read.
Deleting your data
Remove individual products with the Remove button in the popup, or delete everything at once by uninstalling the extension — Chrome discards an extension's local storage when it is removed.
You can take your data with you at any time using Export, which writes a CSV file to your computer.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Sourcebook adds anything that talks to a server — a paid licence check, for example — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described here rather than made quietly.
